The application deadline for children applying to our Voyager program is January 15, 2022. Admissions decision letters informing applicants of acceptance, non-acceptance, or wait-list status will be sent via email on March 10, 2022.

Step 1: Online Inquiry

Fill out an inquiry form here. The completion of an inquiry form registers you in our system so that we can communicate with you throughout the admissions process and share important upcoming dates.

Step 2: Get To Know Us!

We are thrilled to welcome fully vaccinated visitors back to the Wellan campus! Masks will remain mandatory for all guests. Please use this link to register for a time convenient for you. Step 4: Previous School Records and Teacher Recommendations

(Deadline: January 15, 2022) All previous school records, evaluations, and testing results must be received in order for an application to be considered complete. A teacher recommendation form, commonly referred to as an AISNE, is also required as part of your child’s application. AISNEs are confidential and should be submitted directly to Wellan from your child’s current school. They may be emailed to or sent via USPS. There are three separate AISNE recommendation forms that must be submitted. You may access them here.

Step 3: Application

(Deadline: January 15, 2022) There are two applications for the Middle School division. Please fill out both, the standard application form here, and the Voyager application here. ​You will be prompted to pay a $50 fee online after you complete your standard application. If you'd prefer to pay by check, please make payable to Wellan Montessori School and send via USPS to Admissions, 80 Crescent Ave, Newton, MA 02459. Step 5: Student Interview

Student Interviews will be scheduled throughout the months of January and February following the submission of an application and all other required paperwork. When your student’s application file is complete, Wellan will contact you to schedule an interview. While your student is interviewing with the Admissions team, parents will participate in a 1:1 meeting with one of our Middle School teachers. Admissions decisions will be offered to applicants via email on March 10, 2022.
