There are two deadlines for Beginner applications: December 1 and January 15. We strongly encourage families applying for our Beginner program to apply as early as possible; demand for the program is high and we expect all seats to fill. 

Families who apply by the December 1 deadline will receive an admission decision on January 22, 2021. For families who apply between December 1 and January 15, admissions decision letters informing applicants of acceptance, non-acceptance, or wait list status will be sent by March 10, 2021.

Step 1: Online Inquiry

Fill out an inquiry form here. The completion of an inquiry form registers you in our system so that we can communicate with you about the admissions process and important dates. You should only fill out one inquiry form per family, even if you have multiple children applying.

Step 2: Parent Tour

Wellan Montessori School is not currently hosting visitors in person. If you are interested in learning more, please sign up for a phone call or video chat via this link to get started. You may also access an interactive virtual tour here.

Step 4: Application

Fill out an application form here. You will be prompted to pay the $50 application fee online after you complete your application. If you'd prefer to pay by check, please make payable to Wellan Montessori School and send via USPS.

Step 3: Classroom Observation

We are unable to host classroom observations during the 20–21 school year. You will be shown clips of the students in action during division-specific virtual info sessions.

Step 5: Child Visit

In person applicant visits will not take place during the 2020–2021 school year. In order to help us get to know you and your family better, a 1:1 conversation with the Beginner Division Leader, Becky Alukonis, must be completed. These can be scheduled via phone or zoom based on your preference following the submission of your application.
