If you have any questions, please email admissions@wellan.org.

At Wellan, literacy begins with self expression: generating ideas, sequencing them, and communicating them clearly. The Movable Alphabet, seen above, helps children turn letter sounds into meaningful words long before handwriting or fluent reading emerge.

Our curriculum extends that same principle through music, art, movement, stories, and exposure to a second language. Children practice the skills that make later writing and reading possible: rich vocabulary, strong listening, symbolic thinking, coordinated movement, and storytelling.

These experiences aren't extra; they're essential parts of how young learners build foundations they'll rely on for years to come. Visit us and see how our Specials classes bring early literacy to life.
