FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Wellan Montessori School strives to bring together a diverse community of families. Toward this end, we actively seek to keep tuition costs reasonable and to offer financial assistance when appropriate. Wellan uses a thorough evaluative process for financial aid eligibility beginning with your application through the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) School & Student Services (SSS) website. This secure online program evaluates a family’s ability to pay tuition based on factors such as income, net worth, housing costs, number of children, and the cost of living for our area.
Our Financial Aid Process
For New Families:
1. Visit the SSS website and complete your Personal Financial Statement by January 15, 2024.
2. Upload your 2021 tax returns and supporting documents to the SSS site by February 15, 2024.
3. Wellan will notify you of your award by March 10, 2024. Awards will be contingent on receipt of up-to-date tax returns and income verification.
For Returning Families:
1. Visit the SSS website and complete your Personal Financial Statement by December 15, 2023.
2. Wellan will notify you of your award on or before January 27, 2024. Awards will be contingent on receipt of up-to-date tax returns and income verification.
3. Upload your 2021 tax returns and supporting documents to the SSS site by February 15, 2024.
