INSIDE GRADES 4-8, A ROUNDTABLE
October 23, November 14, December 12, January 23
8:30 AM - 9:30 AM
Pull up a chair and join us for an honest, engaging in-person conversation about what life looks like in Wellan’s Upper School.
In Upper Elementary (Grades 4–6), students are at a powerful turning point. They're growing a new capacity for abstract thought and sophisticated idea synthesis, yet still full of authentic, childlike wonder. Learn how our program honors both sides of that experience.
In Middle School (Grades 7 & 8), we celebrate adolescence as a time of possibility: not something to endure, but something to embrace. Within our intentionally small, close-knit community, each student is known, supported, and challenged to be and to do their best. Through strong mentorship, experiential learning, and meaningful opportunities for leadership and reflection, Wellan students develop the skills and confidence to thrive—not just survive—during these transformative years.
You’ll hear from teachers, division leaders, and current parents who know these programs firsthand. We'll walk you through what a typical day looks like, answer your questions, and give you a clear picture of what makes Grades 4–8 at Wellan so unique.
Our admissions team will also be there to walk you through the logistics of applying.
