ABSENCE REPORTING PROCEDURES
In response to the COVID-19 state of emergency declared in Massachusetts, Wellan has instituted the following absence reporting policy as of 3/12/20.
-
All families must inform Wellan of absences by emailing studenthealth@wellan.org.
-
Please include important details in your email, including reasons for absence, description of any symptoms, whether any family members engaged in international travel, the presence of out-of-country visitors in your household, connections to outbreak clusters, or other key facts that implicate the new rules surrounding school access (see below).
-
The below rules regarding school access should be applied across the entire household. If one person is sick in your household, the rules below apply to your entire household.
-
Permission is required prior to re-entering Wellan following an absence. To request permission, email studenthealth@wellan.org or contact the Wellan administration at 617-916-5923.
