International Week of Deaf People

The International Week of Deaf People represents a time to celebrate and honor the unique needs, challenges, and vibrant culture of the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. This year’s theme is “A World Where Deaf People Everywhere Can Sign Anywhere!”

 

We strive for inclusivity in all that we do here at Wellan—from hosting professional development workshops for staff on accessibility in the classroom to incorporating American Sign Language (ASL) into our Festival of Lights celebration.
